Recruiting Tidbits

CatsPause is reporting that Moses Abraham, a 6'9 4 star Power Forward from Temple Hills, Maryland, will make his college selection within the next week between Kentucky, Georgetown, Maryland, Indiana and Tennessee. Many insiders believe that Georgetown has the inside track on him, but anytime that John Calipari and Bruce Pearl are involved, things can be interesting.

On the Brandon Knight front, it's essentially down to Kentucky and Florida, both schools seem to be very confident at this point, expect a decision by Knight before the McDonalds All-American game. Everyone, this will be a fun two weeks on the recruiting trail, make sure to keep your finger on the refresh button.

  1. I've heard a ton of different stories on Knight. At one point I heard his parents want him to go to UK, but he's leaning towards Florida. Another report said he's dropped Florida and replaced them with Syracuse.

  2. Actually, Knight dropped Miami, but at this point, it's Florida or Kentucky. ZagsBlog says that a source close to the situation, believes he will be a Cat. Knights parents like Kentucky a lot, but Knight himself also likes the idea of staying in state, but this source also said that would not be the deciding factor, I think we get him in the end, but who knows.

  3. I guess everyone is different, but I dont see how its even a toss up. You can come play for the hottest team in the country with the most passionate fanbase, for the coach that puts players into The League like crazy...or you can go down to The Swamp and play in front of 7,000 people who are just killing time until spring football starts up.
